தலைவலி
ஹோம் தியேட்டரில் எல்லா ஸ்பீக்கரையும் கட் பண்ணிவிட்டு ஒரே ஒரு ஸ்பீக்கரை மட்டும் வைத்து பார்த்தாலும் தலைவலி நிச்சயம். தியேட்டரில் போய் பார்ப்பவர்கள் பார்த்துவிட்டு எழுதுங்கள்.
உபயம்: சிவகாசி திரைபடம்.
ஒரு சண்டை காட்சியில் படத்தின் டைரக்டர் படத்தின் ஹீரோவை பற்றி சொல்கிறார் இப்படி.
"அவர் சொல்லி அடிக்கிறதுல கில்லி"
"சொல்லாம அடிக்கிறதுல திருப்பாச்சி"
(இதை கேட்டு எனக்கு ஒரே வெறுப்பாச்சி)

You too Bangalore???

My second consecutive post on BEWARE! By this time you should have read this in papers, mails, posts etc.
Bangalore is becoming what? Read this incidence which in no way second to any tamil action movie. This looks like perfect planned plot for which these suckers have invested their brains and time to exploit and take advantage of the situation. Only difference is that the railway officials and RPF have become heores and treated this guy as a villain.

What will you do if after seeing off your fiancee and her mother in the railway station get pushed into a cabin, beaten up and cheated like this ? Read through that post since that thread has causd enough ripples thats going on. Deccan Herald has an article in this.
In Hyderbad, a month back an engineering student was pushed out of a train by a TTE since because he accidently boarded a reserved coach and he lost his legs and now bedridden. No clue where that case is now. How many relatives and friends of TT's occupy reserved seats and enjoy travelling(they pay or not is another story)? I myself have seen this.
When are these guys going to realize that they are there for the public?

Beware!
Don’t speak while your mobile phone is charging. Some time back I read a article in kiruba.com and now this incident. About mobile phones blowing up when used during charging. I should also warn about that I am not sure of the real reason in mobile phones exploding while being charged. I leave that to your discretion to check that. This event got a place in Jaya news tonight.
The real tiger
I have always respected guys who speak straight and are bold. Guys who are firm in their decisions and who act accordingly. I see often and hear about one man now-a-days who I think so as I have described in the previous two lines. Greg Chappell.Leaving out the fact that Ganguly is a real tiger from Bengal and which he thinks he is, Chappell is the Coach of the Indian Team and I don’t think a man like Chappell of such stature and background would have a false motive to mail that Ganguly is “physically and mentally unfit” to lead the Indian team. More importantly, he says that Ganguly creates a rift between players to cling on to the captaincy.
We Indians can’t stand someone pointing fingers at us. Why can’t Ganguly accept and try to prove that he is indeed fit enough to be the Captain. But to claim that Chappell is in the team for only a short term is like asking “bloody who the hell are you to tell me this?”
If Chappell indeed feels that whatever he has mailed is right then he is doing his duty and its unfair to question and comment on his duty. But Ganguly also should be on a high after he scored a century in the recent series.
Its like our kids cricket game that’s played on our streets. So for some time Greg is going to look like a Tiger to me.

43 things!
I got inspired from this nice link from Kiruba. 43 things
The site lists down some "want to do" things and some entries that caught my eye were
get a professional massage, fix my bike, understand myself, have my cat back, unpack all my boxes...
I tried listing down those 43 things that I would want to do in the next 5 years. And to say that I was amazed would be an understatement. It was astonishment to realize how many small things that I have been postponing week by week and those weeks turned into months and it goes on.
Would post soon those my 43 things. I am lazy to the core and I think my first entry in 43 things would be "kick lazyness". hereby tagging

The Madras Day!
And today is Madras Day. I read a number of interesting posts on the Madras Day. And here are my 2 cents.I have written this already but still writing again because I just love Chennai. Even with its crowd, noise, heat etc., Chennai is still my favourite. I was just thinking what has attracted me towards Chennai. And I am clueless. Apart from the fact that I was born Chennai I have lived in Chennai for a very short span of 3 years. And this photographs of Chennai reminds me of a completely different city. I just cant imagine Chennai the way they are in these pictures. Chennai seems so distant in these pictures.
I remember my mom telling me about Moore market shortly after it was destroyed by fire. Every time we used to cross that place she used to tell me that. All my childhood trips to Chennai were short termed for the holidays and still stays etched in my memories. I would get fascinated when I was a kid when we used to plan for a trip to Chennai to my aunts house. I still get the same thing when I am making a trip to Chennai.

With the above song in my ears and a cup of coffee, rains lashing outside, rahman's tabla soothes and I cant stop humming this song. It really amazes when I think about the extent to which Rahman is ready to experiment in his works. Particularly this song has different sounds and is a treat. The tabla just stirrs you and the thaalam takes you somewhere. The tabla is marched with excellent strings. It kept reminding me about "narumugaiye.." from iruvar though the sounds are completely different in both the songs. I feel S.Janaki would have been great in this song.
I wonder how Surya is going to picturise this melody. "Varaaga nathikaraiyoram" from Sangamam was an example for spoiling a great song with the visualization.
In his latest interview with Vikatan A R Rahman says that he thinks that he is born everyday and explains that is the essential thing that is needed by an artist. When I think about Rahman, I always remember our batting Maestro, Sachin Tendulkar. Even though its not fair to compare these two guys, I was just thinking about their similarities. Its their resemblance to lot of things that has kept them on the top, I guess. Both are soft spoken guys very humble, ready to shrink into their own world and answering with their work instead of words. Both have not forgotten the difficult ways they have come. Both pounce back with more power and quality when they get criticised. And they are still the best in their respective fields.
