Ullam kaetkumae !

Whatever your opinion is on this movie, I appreciate the director's decision and the script in not giving the movie an usual end. The pairs in love dont get married and its the other way. And not trying to explain all those centi scenes is itself a strength of this movie.

A casual script, some college remembrances, excellent visuals and good if not excellent music, you get Ullam Kaetkumae. But there are lot of places you feel that Jeeva's films are stereotyped. You can match this movie with 12 B in its songs and picturizations. And a slight touch of Alaypaayuthey and its flashback scenes. Thats make you think whether Jeeva has gone out of creative ideas.

It has taken three years for the movie to come out. When it started, Laila was a star and Asin and Pooja were beginning their acting careers. That also explains the star combination and the film's ending. But now its exactly the opposite. Aryaa, Asin and Pooja are stars while Shaam and Laila are fading out. Laila's character is portrayed to such a level that you get irritated the moment she steps in the frame. Arya's character is so calm and neat that I started liking that guy after this movie. He was good in "Arindhum ariyaamalum" also. His voice gave him a certain girlish kind of a soft nice image. As usual, jeeva's movies have excellent visuals and this movie is not an exemption. Particularly, the college song(dhoda, dhoda) and its choreography. In the end you want to be entertained with not much serious story lines you can definitely go for ullam kaetkumae.

Anniyan threatening with swaying hairs, chandramukhi's horror with lakka lakka, mumbai express a technical comedy, Ullam kaetkumae is a simple story with an autograph opening and a story with its own pace.
