My all time favourites list in Tamil
Slowly this TFM is catching up. And I am a recent victim. So here we go. Following is my all time favourites list
(order varies depending upon the mood)
Pallavi illaamal paadugiraen (Uyire Unakaaga)
Its a very small song but an absolute melody with guitar and SPB's soothing voice
Nirpadhuvae nadapadhuvae(Bharati)
An excellent composition by Illayaraja and Ragavendhar's best. He sang the track of this song and after 7 months Illayaraja told him to sing the main track
Poongatrilae(Uyire)
Rahman is in his best in a percussion and violin. Check when you hear this next time
Vandha naal mudal(Paavamannippu)
The lyrics are so moving even today.
Unnai kaanaadha kannum(Idhaya Kamalam)
Thenpaandi cheemayilae(Nayagan)
Kannalae Kaadhal (Aathma)
Semparuthi poovae(Kadhal solla vandhaen)
Sithiram paesudhadi(Sabash Meena)
Anbulla maanvizhiyae(Kuzhandaiyum deivamum)
Sippy irukkudhu muthum irukkudhu(Varumai niram sigappu)
Raasathi unnai(Vaithehi kaathirundaal)
Vannam konda vennilavae(Sigaram)
Unnai arindhaal nee unnai arindhaal(Film name forgotten. Its a MGR savitri starrer)
Kadavul ullame(Anbulla Rajinikanth)
Currently hearing album: Arindhum ariyaamalum
Recently bought CD of : Anniyan
